“Lone Wolf” Single/Two Officer Active Shooter Response
“Lone Wolf” an aggressive training course designed in 2010 to prepare officers to effectively respond alone and in pairs to an active shooter. Over the past 8 years, it has been perfected and rolled out to thousands of LEO’s nationwide.
The “Lone Wolf” will cover the theories behind life preservation and the one/two officer response to an active shooter. Our Simunition-based scenarios will teach students how to apply those theories correctly. Training will emphasize successfully engaging the threat, and how to stop the loss of life.
During this 10-hour course of instruction attendees will learn to:
- Identify current active shooter trends & Uvalde factors which led to “group think” and massive failures through the incidents entirety
- Confront the shooter alone if needed
- Communicate and move in pairs if cover officer is present
- Target identification
- Use of force considerations
At the end of this program students will have the knowledge, mindset, and skills necessary to aggressively and safely respond to an active shooter situation alone or in pairs.
