DESCRIPTION:Link to Flyer\n \nThe NMLETP utilizes highly-qualified instructors.\nAll certified law enforcement officers are eligible to attend.\nAll courses and trainings are provided at no cost.\nAll courses are accredited by the New Mexico Department\nof Public Safety Law Enforcement Academy.\nThis training assists law enforcement personnel in developing the skills necessary\nto successfully operate laser technology. Students will gain a comprehensive\nunderstanding of the motivation, basic methods, principles, and operation of laser\ntechnology used in speed enforcement. Training topics include detailed mathematics\nand scientifi c principles for successful use of laser technology, information about\nmoving and legal issues, and preparing for court testimony.
