Our conference provides retailers and law enforcement with networking and shared learning opportunities to encourage collaboration and help combat organized retail crime in New Mexico through hands-on workshops and seminars from industry leaders. We will have seminars on topics that include ORC in New Mexico, effective ORC prosecution, conducting safe operations, how to use AUROR to prevent crime, and more! We will also be hosting a raffle throughout the conference with lots of great prizes donated by our retail members. NMORCA provides an online digital platform for retailers and law enforcement so that they can easily share information in real time to help prevent and prosecute organized retail crime (ORC) in New Mexico.\nWhat is ORC?\nORC describes a group or individual who repeatedly steals high-value merchandise from a retailer or multiple retailers for the purpose of reselling the merchandise for personal financial gain. ORC is not only detrimental to New Mexico retailers and businesses financially but more importantly it poses a threat to the safety and well-being of employees and customers alike.
